Coldwell Campbell 2nd annual car show…

So you thought Surf City USA was just about Surfing and Fun in the Sun ?  Think again.  On almost any given weekend, there’s a car show — and a number of other events. Surf City residents, locals and visitors gather regularly in places like Donut Derelicts or Kustom Kulture II to check out the custom, classic and exotic cars and motorcycles that gather to be seen.

This year, thousands came out for the 2nd Annual Coldwell Banker-Campbell Realtors’ “Car Show at the Beach” to benefit The Wounded Warrior Project. The variety of vehicles to see, the music to listen to, the good food to eat, and the raffle prizes to win made for a fun day at the beach. The car show location sure didn’t hurt either: the Coldwell Banker-Campbell Realtors’ oceanfront lot at the corner of 18th Street and PCH made for a great time in the sun, with cool breezes and oceanviews all day long.

According to Scot and Heather Campbell, Co-Owners of Coldwell Banker-Campbell Realtors, the event was a huge success, raising over $13,000 in just 5 hours for The Wounded Warrior Project. “We are really looking forward to next year’s car show set for July 2014. Now that the word is out, more vehicles will participate, and we are confident we’ll raise even more money for The Wounded Warrior Project. It is an honor to give back to the servicemen and women that have done so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy everyday in this country,” says Campbell.

The Wounded Warrior Project—a IRC 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission of raising awareness and garnering support for the injured service personnel “to help severely injured servicemen and women aid each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.”
